Tante Marie Culinary Academy, the UK’s first independent cookery school, has been the starting point for thousands of chefs since 1954. Setting the standard in culinary training, the prestigious Cordon Bleu Diploma is at the heart of its professional qualifications. Tante Marie opened its doors to new, state-of-the-art premises in the centre of Woking earlier this year, which included the unveiling of The Restaurant at Tante Marie, staffed by graduates who are studying towards a pioneering Level 5 Hospitality Management qualification. The restaurant has already been awarded two OpenTable awards and continues to be the most-booked in Woking. This year, the school has also expanded its lifestyle course offering, with new additions such as Store Cupboard Cooking and Marinade for the Freezer, as well as a range of Christmas courses.
